Updated Notice to the Profession on Superior Court Proceedings

The Ontario Superior Court of Justice released an updated Notice to the Profession and Public Regarding Court Proceedings on April 8, 2021.

The Court continues to hear as many matters as possible virtually. In-person matters will not be held, except for only the most serious child protection matters, urgent family matters and critical criminal matters, where other options are absolutely unavailable.

Gowns continue to be not required for any hearings, including virtual hearings.
