Isha Sharma is an associate at Rogers Partners LLP, bringing a wealth of experience in multijurisdictional civil litigation. She specializes in insurance defence, sexual abuse claims, and public entity and school representation.
Prior to joining Rogers Partners LLP, Isha managed a high-volume caseload for over four years at an insurance defence firm in California, where she worked on both Federal and California cases. Ms. Sharma has also been associated with the Business Law Clinic (previously affiliated with UC Berkeley) since 2019, where she provides assistance to businesses and startups in the formation of their entities and offers legal guidance on various issues.
Isha completed her Masters’ Degree (LLM) at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in May 2020. During her time at UC Berkeley, Ms. Sharma earned pro-bono honours for her contribution to the Homelessness Clinic and the Berkeley Immigration Group. She also volunteered for the Berkeley CARES Act Small Business Project, helping businesses navigate financial assistance programs such as PPP, EIDL schemes, SBA Loans, and payroll relief. Additionally, she extended her pro bono support to Arch City Defenders through Stanford Law School.
Before pursuing her LLM at UC Berkeley, Ms. Sharma earned a dual degree in Business Administration and Law from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India. She then clerked with Hon. Justice Mr. G.S. Sistani at the Delhi High Court and contributed to the DDAC Foundation, a non-profit focused on providing legal education to high school students. Isha also volunteered with her law school’s legal aid clinic, advising pro bono clients on various civil matters. Isha also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Trinity Western University in British Columbia.
