Angie Ortiz-Romero

Angie Ortiz-Romero is an Associate at Rogers Partners LLP. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2026 after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law Program.

Before joining Rogers Partners, Angie completed her articles at a Toronto litigation firm, where she gained hands-on experience in civil litigation, including Small Claims Court trials, legal research, and client advocacy. She also worked with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Centre for Health Law, Policy and Ethics, developing strong research, advocacy, and client service skills.

During law school, Angie distinguished herself through competitive mooting, including a finalist finish in the LeClair Metaverse Moot, and through her involvement in the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association and the Women’s Legal Education & Action Fund.

Angie is fluent in Spanish and enjoys playing volleyball and the violin.
