Aliyyah Khan is an associate in the firm’s insurance defence practice. She represents insurers and defendants in a wide range of civil litigation matters.

Aliyyah articled at the firm, building upon the foundational knowledge she gained through her prior legal experience in Trinidad and Tobago. Her background includes experience acting on both plaintiff-side and defence-side matters, providing her with a balanced perspective on litigation strategy and risk assessment. She has worked on a broad range of files across multiple areas of law and has managed a high volume of matters.

Aliyyah is known for her strong interpersonal skills, clear and effective communication, and collaborative approach to legal practice. She works closely with clients to understand their objectives and is committed to providing practical, efficient, and responsive legal solutions. She also has working knowledge of basic American Sign Language (ASL) and conversational Spanish, enhancing her ability to communicate with a diverse client base.

Outside of her legal practice, Aliyyah enjoys reading and travelling, particularly exploring coastal regions. She has a keen interest in museums and animal-focused activities – interests that reflect her curiosity, thoughtfulness, and appreciation for both culture and nature.
