Notice to the Profession on Scheduling Trials in Toronto

A Notice to the Profession indicates that the Toronto Region will be holding a virtual trial scheduling court on June 21, 2021.

This trial scheduling court will be for cases that had fixed trial dates after March 15, 2020 that were cancelled due to COVID-19 and where a new trial date has yet to be selected. The cases must be ready for trial.

The Notice provides an e-mail address to ask to have matters added to the trial scheduling court list.

Jury trials for cases involving motor vehicle accidents or slip and falls with a trial length of 15 days or less will be scheduled for the spring or fall of 2022.
