Eid Mubarak
Eid al-Fitr (“Festival of Breaking Fast”) marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting. It is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. It is an occasion for special prayers, family and friends visiting, gift-giving and charity.
In Canada, Eid-al-Fitr began the evening of May 1, 2022 and ends the evening of May 2, 2022. Eid Mubarak to all those who are celebrating today!
