Chris MacDonald Wins Motion

Congratulations to Chris MacDonald on his success in a motion to dismiss an action last week. The plaintiff failed to comply with an order to file a notice of intention to act in person or to have a new lawyer appointed, following his former lawyer’s removal from the record.

The previous order was granted over one year ago. Our office followed up with the plaintiff on numerous occasions, seeking compliance with the order. However, the plaintiff failed to respond.

Therefore, the court agreed that the action should be dismissed, with costs.
