Don is a founding partner of the firm and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1982. An experienced trial counsel, he has argued cases at all levels of trial and appellate courts and before numerous administrative tribunals.
Don's practice areas cover a broad spectrum of litigation, including serious personal injury and wrongful death; professional, medical and legal malpractice; products liability; transportation; class actions; and insurance and commercial disputes. He has provided counsel to large insurers, school boards, government agencies, gas and electric utilities, and regulatory tribunals. Don has appeared before all levels of Court in Ontario as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.
Don is a Fellow of the College of American Trial Lawyers, and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada in Energy Regulatory Law, Insurance Law, and Personal Injury Litigation.
